| Yamaha MG32/14fx Auxillary output issue I am new to the church and we have small speakers that are on the wings that have not worked since I started there. I've worked on smaller portable mixers at our old church. Two weeks ago all of the other aux monitors quit working. Issue #1 - The Wing speakers were plugged into the R-Main bayonet jack. I moved them to jack to the L-Main and they worked ok. Could the Yammie port go out like that? Issue #2 - I went in tonight and confirmed that the wiring is ok with some tracing tools that I use for networks. I wondered if the Yammie could be having a problem, so I unplugged both L-Main and R-Main. After doing this all of the Aux speakers including the choir monitors started working fine. Is this a sign that we are about to lose more functionality?
There are 4 Amps involved. One for the Mains and the others are divided into the reamaining 3 amps. If we were having an amp problem, I would expect a different result from just unplugging the main at the board.
Any ideas would be helpful. |
