| In theory, random and repeat options turned on should allow it to play continously. However, you may find that a CD player running 24/7 won't last long. Spinning the CD is of course a mechanical process and the laser is always on. You might consider using a simple mp3 player instead. You'll be able to get a lot more variety on it and since it typically is solid state memory there is less mechanical failure potential.
