I have been off line for a while. The question that I have is are you using the camera mic, or are you using an external box. I have been using an XLR mic adapter, which gives a better sound you can plug in a sound mixer. It really comes in good for weddings, and church services. I know that B&H photo (
www.phphoto.com ) have a cable made by hosa for only $10, and if you want something on the higher end Beachtek has mic adapter that attach to the camera mounts for $179 also at B&H. I think that it you be a good investment for anyone that is really trying to do quality DVD's, to have a XLR mic adapter. As far as 48K or 44.1K I have not heard much differents, but there may be.
