SongShow Plus is offering three $500 scholarships to the 2008 CMN Convention. Here are the qualifications to apply:

1) You need to be an active and long-time member of CMN -- at least 9 months to a year.

2) You need to genuinely be needy. If I find out you drive a Hummer you will regret it come convention time. I will embarrass you in front of hundreds of people from around the world.

3) You have to go to everything at the convention. No skipping out to Six Flags.

4) Once we find a sponsor for you, it is your responsibility to find the best airfare and book your own flight. We can help you with that -- as well as booking a hotel room. We will provide ground transportation for you throughout the week... although I would be sure that Phil rolls down all the windows if you have to drive with him. You will be responsible for your meals and any other expenses.

5) You will be required to wear the company propaganda all week. Don't worry, I'm sure they will let you keep the clothes. You will need to be fully versed in the company's main products so that you can tell everyone about it. You will also need to tell a camcorder all about the wonderful products and how generous of me it is to make this scholarship available to you.... oh and you'll have to get on stage at least once to do it again... or if you're a scaredy-cat I guess we could just play the video... but you'll have to wear a "I'm a wimp" shirt... when you get home... I guess....

6) You must be a SongShow Plus user or intimately knowledgeable of SongShow Plus... and like it.

7) You will be required to pay any expenses over $500.

Well, I've never had ANY problem with SongShow Plus. To date, I've never had a problem with it during a service.

I agree it is great of the Song Show Plus people to fund these scholarships. They have a great product. Unlike Tony and KBOB, I can't say I have never had any problems with it. The problems though are very few and far between.

If Lucas is awarded a scholarship and gets over there, can someone please take him to a Fry's?

Fry's is a bad idea. It takes a whole day just to get through the darn stores. I don't have enough buckets either.

I would suggest booking the flight for them and holding the return trip ticket. That way if they don't do everything that they are supposed to do they will have to figure out how to get home. At least that's what they do in those high-pressure time share sales presentations. They give you a "free" trip to the islands and then if you decide that you don't want to buy into their deal, you have to find your own way back.
