[CONVENTION 2008] Roomies

If you want to room with someone else to save money on hotel costs, post here. If you have room in your house in the Dallas area and want to host some attendees, let us know here and how many you could accommodate (and you might want to specify if you smoke, don't like kids or have any mental illnesses that we should be aware of

).

I was trying to think of any metal illnesses I had .. I couldn't think of any .. but mental illness, that's all of us, so we're okay either way.

Well, since I'm not working full time right now my "fun money" is kind of restricted so I'm going to have to stay with someone or split a room.

I'm going to have to wait a while to see if I'll be brining a roomie with me. I just hope all the good roomies are taken by then.

I would offer my place, but I live in Denton (an hour north of Dallas) and have an efficiency apartment... not much here for someone other than me.

It's possible that my church may be paying for a room for me so i might have an extra bunk for someone. I've got to get some information finalized but if you don't mind sharing a room with a geek then i'm open to a roomie.

I'm thinking the non-geeks will the the stand outs at this convention.

I'm willing to share with anyone that doesn't mind a bit of snoring. (Although my wife hasn't complained about that lately.)
